If you ever wondered about a certain law in regards to fishing, this is where you'll want to bring that question. Next Tuesday, January 20th, the game warden will be our guest speaker at the PACK meeting. For those that want to eat dinner (the pre-fishing meeting, lol) before attending the meeting, we will be meeting at:

The Pit Room (Many will arrive around 4:45 pm - 5:00 pm, but you can come whenever. Just be aware of how long you spend there so you will be able to make the meeting on time.)

10301 Katy Fwy.

If you are interested in coming to the meetings and want to know who the guest speakers are, look at the tabs toward the top of the PACK home page and find the "Events" tab. Click on that and it will show you all the meetings and fishing trips coming for this year. Since it's the start of the New Year, the speakers and fishing trips are being added. Rest assure, we do have a full calendar ready to put up for 2026. If you would like to lead a trip this year but never have done one, feel free to contact me. I am happy to walk you through the process. Blake Colburn 832-588-7091

Keith Lake (Saturday)

Weather and conditions are looking fantastic for Saturday. I did, however, make a small change. The new launch time is at 6:30 am. The original time I took into consideration that it might be really cold in December and we may want to launch to a warmer sunrise. Since the temps are nice, we can launch at first light and not be cold (temps will be low 60s in the morning). Also, since we are launching at first light, I recommend a 360 light. Even though we will be in the dark not very long, it's not worth a ticket to not bring one. If you don't have a 360 light and don't want to buy one, simply stay on land until 7:00 am and then launch. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to call.
